NUSI holds demonstration demanding rise in UG courses' seats

Demanding more seats in under-graduate courses at the colleges affiliated to Choudhary Charan Singh University, activists of NSUI, Congress Party's youth wing, today held a protest demonstration before Government PG Degree college at Sector-39 here today.

The activists, led by its state unit secretary Raj Kumar and Kisan Congress state vice-president Dinesh Awana held a demonstration near the college and also burnt an effigy of the vice-chancellor of the University.

"We have also demanded launch of evening classes beside increase in day course seats," Awana told reporters here.

Earlier, last month, the activists had given a memorandum to college principals for increasing seats in the under-graduate courses.
