English musician Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs says former band Oasis is not headed for a reunion.

Rumours began to spark after a tweet from Liam Gallagher suggested that the band might be considering a reunion. However, Bonehead insists the message not was indicating towards the reunion, reported Contactmusic.

"Everyone hopes it happens, but there's nothing going on. I met Liam in the pub that evening he tweeted the letters spelling the band and he didn't mention he'd done it. Next thing, reunion talk everywhere," Bonehead said.

However, Bonehead refused to rule out the reunion possibility altogether and said, "Never say never."

The group disintegrated following a fight between Liam and Noel in 2009.
