US National Security Advisor Susan Rice will travel to Beijing next week to hold talks with Chinese officials on a range of bilateral and global issues ahead of President Barack Obama's visit to China in November.
Rice would travel to China from September 7-9, for meetings with senior Chinese officials, including State Councillor Yang Jiechi, to consult on a host of bilateral, regional, and global issues, a White House statement said.
Rice will underscore the US' commitment to building a productive relationship between the two countries in advance of Obama's visit to China in November, the statement said.
