US President Barack Obama will visit San Bernardino on Friday to visit the families of victims of a shooting spree by a radicalised couple that killed 14 people, the White House said today.
Obama will stop in San Bernardino on the way to his annual Christmas vacation with his family in Hawaii.
"While he is en route to Honolulu, the president will stop in San Bernardino, California to visit privately with the families of the victims of the terror attack in San Bernardino earlier this month," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.
At this point of time no media access to the meeting has been planned, Earnest said.
A Pakistani-origin couple, who federal officials say were inspired by Islamist extremists, opened indiscriminate firing on December 2 at a holiday luncheon and killed 14 people.
