President Barack Obama, in a message written for a portal, is calling on the Senate to pass legislation prohibiting employment discrimination against gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Obama's administration has aggressively utilized social networking to convey its message, and Obama said workplace discrimination is "offensive."
The president said in yesterday night's post on Huffingtonpost.Com that job discrimination against gays quote, "needs to stop, because in the United States of America, who you are and who you love should never be a fireable offense."
