An octogenarian man was brutally killed allegedly by his son at Khawzawl in Champhai district of Mizoram, police said today.
Lianhenga (83), sick and confined to bed for long, was attacked by his only son Thuankipmanga (35) after threatening his sisters and their children last night, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Zothlamuana said.
As his sisters ran out of the house and called for help, Thuankipmanga killed his father with a machete cutting his throat and also inflicting several wounds on the latter's body.
