A 80-year-old man, riding a scooter, was killed after being run over by a truck on Ambala-Hisar road here today, police said.
The incident took place near Aggarsain Chowk and the deceased has been identified as Pratap Singh, a resident of Prem Nagar area, they said, adding that he was a close relative of former Himachal Pradesh Governor Suraj Bhan.
The truck driver has been arrested.
