Odisha Assembly was today adjoured till evening as a mark of respect towards senior Congress leader and former minister Habibulla Khan, who died yesterday.
The House was adjourned after paying rich tributes to the senior politician from undivided Koraput district.
Cief Minister Naveen Patnaik moved a condolence motion which was supported by leader of the Opposition Narasingha Mishra of Congress and BJP Legislature Party chief Basant Panda.

The members observed one minute's silence in respect to the departed soul after which speaker Niranjan Pujari annonced adjournment of the House.
Pujari said the the House will reassemble at 5 pm during which the state government will present the annual budget.
