A day after announcing cancellation of plots/houses allotted under the discretionary quota, Odisha government today submitted in sealed covers the report of the task force headed by senior bureaucrat Tara Dutt.
The sealed cover also contained the state cabinet's resolution on the issue before the Orissa High Court in response to an earlier notice.
Converting a letter petition into a PIL, the High Court had last week asked the state to submit the task force report and the action taken report in sealed covers.
Seeking a CBI inquiry, the petitioner had alleged irregularities pertaining to allotment of plots and houses by various government agencies under discretionary quota.
