Odisha government today offered a special industrial park for investors from Italy to set up different industries in the state.
The offer was made by chief minister Naveen Patnaik while meeting the Consul General of Italy Damiano Francovigh here at the state secretariat.
During the meeting, Patnaik proposed creation of a special industrial park for Italian companies where they can set up textile, auto industries and chemical plants, an official said.

Patnaik has also proposed a round table meeting with Italy companies CEOs at the Make-In-Odisha Conclave scheduled to be held in November, 2018.
The chief minister also through the the Consul General invited a delegation of Italian industries to visit the state.
Francovigh, on his part, praised Odisha's growth in industries and trade, an official statement issued by the chief minister's office said adding that Italian companies would be interested to set up their units in the state.
He also expressed optimism on the growth of trade and commerce in collaboration with Odisha, it said.
