To showcase Odisha's potential in the micro small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, the state government today decided to organise the annual trade fair from January 8, 2016.
The fair will continue till January 14, Chief Secretary G C Pati who presided over a meeting here, said.
The fair, to be held at the IDCO Exhibition ground here, will provide a platform for MSME producers and will invite business delegation from foreign countries through their embassies in India for popularisation of Odisha products.

"Attempts will also be made to attract overseas entrepreneurs to invest in Odisha in sectors like engineering, chemicals, metallurgical processing, marine processing, agriculture, tourism and textiles," MS & ME secretary Surendra Kumar said.
The seminars and workshops will be conducted on credit flow, marketing support and technology upgradation, he said, adding that buyers'-sellers' meet will also be organised to facilitate the marketing of MSME products in the exhibition.
The budget estimate for this trade fair has been around Rs 99 lakh, Kumar said.
