Odisha's First TOEFL Center in KIIT

Long standing aspirations of young students and professionals of Odisha was realised as the state's first TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) centre was launched in KiiT International School.

Students and professionals of Odisha aiming for higher education in foreign Universities need not go to Kolkata or outside Odisha now for appearing TOEFL.

Satisfied with the infrastructure of KiiT International School, the ETS (Educational Testing Service), USA set up TOEFL Center here, a KiiT release said today.

It is the 36th TOEFL centre in India. ETS is the international organisation conducting TOEFL. As many as 9000 colleges and Universities of 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, UK and USA, recognise TOEFL as basic requirement to study in colleges and Universities of their countries.
 

Expressing his satisfaction, Dr Achyut Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, due to excellent study environment and modern infrastructure, ETS has certified KiiT International School as the first TOEFL centre of Odisha. Students and professionals of Odisha will be greatly benefited by the centre, he added.
