To raise awareness on keeping the Ganga clean, under the Centre's 'Namami Gange' project, Odissi danseuse Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya has planned a concert in Varanasi next Sunday.
"The concert is dedicated to the cause of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mission to keep the Ganga clean. The dance numbers celebrate different forms of motherhood including Mother Ganga. The purpose is to raise awareness on the immediate necessity of cleaning Ganga and stopping all activities that pollutes her," the Kolkata-based dancer said.
Organised by the Nagari Natak Mandali Trust and Antar Rashtriya Sahyog Parishad, Varanasi, the concert will be held at the Nagari Natak Mandali Auditorium in Varanasi.
