The new DUTA Executive under president Nandita Narain elected its office bearers today.
Sandeep of ARSD College is the Vice President, Harish Khanna of Shyam Lal College is the Secretary, Anita Ghosh of Aditi Mahavidyalaya the Joint Secretary and Bhupinder Chaudhary of Maharaja Agrasen College the Treasurer.
Besides the elections for the four main posts, five more teachers were also co-opted into the DUTA Executive.
The new DUTA executive body will have a meeting on October 3 to discuss the issue of appointments for over 4,000 teaching posts lying vacant in the colleges and departments across Delhi University.
Narain, a mathematics professor in St Stephens, had won DUTA's presidential elections on August 29.
