Employees today spend more time working than anything else, even sleeping, which is why organisations are mulling transformation in the way offices are conceptualised and constructed, says a report.
"Office construction and remodelling numbers are going up globally," according to a report by US furniture company Steelcase.
The reason for necessary changes in office infrastructure, as per the report, is the war for attracting and retaining talent, deal with employee disengagement and technology that makes work experience more human centred, among others.

Usha Int'l launches 2 new models of E-series fan * Usha International today said it has launched two new models of its flagship automotive inspired E-series fans range.
Both models have automotive paint finish, high torque motor and aerodynamic blades, that offer silent operation and high air delivery, the company said in a statement.
