Official in ACB net in Malegaon

Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested an official of the civic body of Malegaon in north Maharashtra while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 80,000.

Anil Laxman Nikam, working as junior draftsman with the town planning development office, was allegedly caught while taking the money for change of land's status from agricultural to non-agricultural (NA).

The complainant in the case had approached the ACB after Nikam allegedly demanded bribe from him.
