The inquiry was ordered by then District Collector U Sagayam about an year ago. Initial comparison with government records showed encroachment had been made by both Daya Cyber Park and the neighbouring building.
The Daya Cyber Park itself, located on a 3.18 acres site, had faced civil litigation over ownership. While it was claimed that the land belonged to a trust, the company maintained the sale of land had been effected legally and related cases disposed of by court.
