The accused had demanded the bribe from one Suresh Chaudhary in lieu of not carrying out frequent inspections of his wife's gas agency in Bhilwara district, an official in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said here.
He had demanded Rs 5 lakh and was held at his residence by an ACB team when he was taking the first installment of Rs 2 lakh, the official said, adding that he is being interrogated.
