Oil Minister lays foundation of LPG plant at Gorakhpur

Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said the proposed LPG bottling plant here will supply gas to about 12 districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Laying the foundation stone of the plant, the minister said that in the coming two to three years all blocks of the eastern UP would have LPG distribution centres.

Once completed, the bottling plant would supply LPG to about 12 districts of eastern UP, he said.

The minister also announced that a closed fertiliser factory in Gorakhpur would be revived soon.

Pradhan said that Narendra Modi-led government is committed for welfare of the poor and deprived sections of the society.
 

On the achievements of the Modi government, he said the people's confidence has grown and inflation has been brought under control.

He said that soon diesel would be provided to neighbouring Nepal through pipeline.
