Point-to-point cab services provider Olacabs today announced the launch of its new city taxi service Ola mini here.
"The new service will be offered at auto rickshaw fares of Rs 13 per km with a base fare of Rs 100 for the first 6 kms, making it the least expensive AC cab service available in the city," Olacabs said in a release.
"We are launching with 250 cabs under this service and plan to increase the number to 1,000 by the end of this year", Olacabs CEO and Co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal said.

Meet on skills mismatch to be held in Bangalore * IT major Infosys and Bertelsmann Stiftung, a German think-tank promoting development for a sustainable society, will jointly host a two-day conference on 'How to tackle the skills mismatch in India?' here from February 6.
The conference will discuss ways to improve vocational education and strategies on how the private sector can effectively contribute to skill development in India, according to a company statement.
The conference is expected to attract 80 participants from various fields including Bertelsmann Foundation Vice Chairman Liz Mohn and Infosys Founder and Executive Chairman N R Narayana Murthy, the statement added.
