Veteran Gary Oldman may have dented his maiden Oscar trophy for Best Actor barely minutes after securing the golden knight for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in "Darkest Hour".

The 59-year-old star seemed to have dented his trophy as he walked through the back of the Dolby Theatre while he was on his way to get it engraved, FemaleFirst reported.

The Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg shared a video on Twitter in which one can see Oldman accidentally colliding with a metal railing and looking at it to inspect the statuette.

Feinberg captioned the clip as, "I think I witnessed Gary Oldman accidentally dent his new Oscar on his way to having it engraved... (sic)".
