The 44-year-old actor, who replaces Claire Foy in the hit Netflix series as Queen Elizabeth II, revealed she is yet to go through the script of the forthcoming installment, DigitalSpy reported.
"I haven't started that yet. It starts in July, haven't read it yet," she explained, jokingly adding, "I'm going to play her Welsh," Colman said during a Q&A after a screening of "Flowers" series two.
The actor had earlier hinted that she will start working on "The Crown" in July.
