The 28-year-old actress, who frequently visited the country with her journalist parents as a child, was among the first celebrity aid volunteers to travel to earthquake-ravaged Haiti in the wake of the 2010 natural disaster, reported Contactmusic.
She co-founded charity organisation Campaign Happiness in a bid to help locals rebuild, and now Wilde has teamed up with bosses at eco-friendly fashion firm Alternative Apparel to create a bag to raise money for Port-au-Prince school Artists for Peace and Justice.
"I've been trying to figure out how to combine conscious commerce with my love for fashion. I wear their sweatshirts every day and live in their maxi dresses. And the owners are good people!," Wilde said.
