Omar Abdullah praises Virender Sehwag for his exciting cricket

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah heaped praise on Virender Sehwag, who announced retirement from all forms of international cricket today, saying the feisty batsman was an exciting player and people would miss watching him play.

"What a joy you were to watch @virendersehwag, in parts sublime & in parts exasperating but always exciting. We shall miss watching you play," Omar, an enthusiastic sports buff, wrote on Twitter.

Sehwag, one of the world's most destructive batsmen to have played the game, announced his retirement from international cricket and the Indian Premier League today bringing an end to an illustrious career spanning over a decade.
 
Sehwag, celebrating 37th birthday today, had already hinted about his imminent retirement at a function in Dubai yesterday and he took barely a few hours to make it official.
