Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today pitched for a comprehensive development plan for Eidgah in Srinagar to make it one of the most beautiful and developed places in the country.
"We want a comprehensive plan for improvement and upgrading of Eidgah and create befitting drainage system there to make it one of the most beautiful places in the country," Omar said in the Assembly during the Question Hour.
Assembly Speaker Mubarak Gul is conveying a meeting of concerned departments in this regard, Omar said, noting that a holistic plan needs to be formulated so that work is taken in hand accordingly.
