Omar hopes Indian cricket team will return with World Cup

Asserting that India has not lost any match in the ongoing cricket World Cup, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today expressed hope that Team India would return with the winner's trophy.

"India hasn't lost any match in World Cup, and this is a big thing in itself. We are hopeful that India will win the quarter-final, semi-final and come back with the World Cup," Omar said.

"I have an interest and high hope of victory as you have seen they have not lost match till now," he added.

India is currently fighting Bangladesh in the World Cup quarter-finals today. The defending champions batted first and scored 302 for six.
