Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today laid the foundation stone of a housing colony being built by the state government for its employees in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
The colony at Pampore, 14 km from here, is being developed over an area of five hectares at an estimated cost of Rs 90.65 crore, a state government spokesman said here.
The project envisages construction of three blocks of flats numbering 400 and is likely to be completed by next year, the spokesman said.
There is also a provision for constructing additional three blocks in the colony, he said.
