Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah today said the Centre issuing ordinances cannot be justified by the fact that the previous government had also done the same.
"Just because ABC issued XYZ number of ordinances doesn't justify the current lot issued(.) Otherwise campaign saying 'we will bring no change'," Omar wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Omar was apparently referring to some BJP leaders defending the ordinances issued by the NDA government on the grounds that the previous UPA government had also issued many ordinances.
"The problem with using other's actions to justify one's own is at the end of the day you are no better(.) so where is the change UPA v/s NDA," he asked.
