Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah today visited hospital and inquired about the health of party patron and his uncle Sheikh Nazir Ahmed.
Sheikh Nazir was admitted in a super specialty hospital here this morning.
A party spokesman said Omar spent some time with Sheikh Nazir and also wished him speedy recovery.
"Dr S K Bali, head of the nephrology department and his team is closely monitoring the condition of the ailing leader," the spokesman said.
A stream of visitors including senior National Conference leaders, friends and relatives besides leaders of various social organisations also called on Sheikh Nazir and wished him early recovery, he added.
