"Omerta", starring Rajkummar Rao, will have its world premier at the Toronto international film festival.
The film's director Hansal Mehta announced the news on Twitter and congratulated the entire cast and crew.
"#OMERTA will have its world premier at the Toronto International Film Festival 2017 (#TIFF2017). Congratulations and love to the team," he wrote.

The film, based on a true story, marks Rao and Mehta's fourth collaboration. They have previously worked on acclaimed films like "Aligarh", "Citylights" and "Shahid", which got Rao a National Award for the best actor.
The first image of the film was also tweeted by Mehta, where Rao was seen offering namaaz, with '9/11', 'Kidnapping of American' among other things scribbled on the wall.
All other details about the film have been kept under wraps.
