Upendra Kumar has been sent to Dasna Jail on charges of attempt to murder under section 307 of the IPC, Station Officer (Sahibabad) R N Yadav said.
Yadav said more arrests are likely.
On July 9, a clash broke out between two communities here after a road accident in which a child got hurt.
