The police today arrested one person and recovered a small quantity of cannabis from his possession in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
As a part of the continuous drive against the menace of the drugs launched by district police, one person named Rahul was arrested and 50 grams of cannabis recovered from his possession, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Anil Magotra said.
A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered at the Samba police station and further investigation is on, the officer said.
