A day-old baby girl was found buried at a deserted place in Bavari area of Kanota, a sub-urban town of Jaipur, police said here today.
The baby was born at a hospital in Kanota a day ago, and it was not known whether she was buried alive or dead, they said.
A passerby noticed her leg leg exposed from the ground following which the body was recovered yesterday.
A case has been registered under Section 318 of IPC for concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body, the police said.
