One person was killed and 11 injured by an explosion at a restaurant in the southern German city of Ansbach, DPA reported, citing local police.
Officers have cordoned off the centre of the Bavarian city and rescue services are on the scene, the news agency reported, although details of what caused the explosion last night are still unclear.
