A Congress worker was killed and another four injured tonight when Congress and CPI(M) activists clashed in this district, police said.
Congress worker Surya Mohan Debanth was killed with sharp weapons while four others were injured in the clash in Palashtoli area of Alipurduar sub-division, police said.
The injured were rushed to hospital where condition of two of them was stated to be serious, they said.
Efforts are on to nab the culprits, they said.
