A 20-year-old engineering student was killed and two others were injured when the car in which they were travelling in hit a road divider and overturned in posh Banjara Hills area today, the police said.
The incident occurred when the car, apparently in a high speed, hit the road-divider on the road number 3 before toppling, a Banjara Hills police station official said.
The student, who was at the wheel, died on the spot, he said.
As per the CCTV footage of the accident aired by some local news channels, the car could be seen turning turtle after hitting the road divider. Further probe is on.
