Coldplay frontman Chris Martin feels One Direction are a "brilliant" pop group and he is a big fan of their music.
The pop group comprised of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, reported Contactmusic.
"I'm saying One Direction are brilliant. I'm not kidding," Martin said.
This is not the first time that Martin has gushed about his love for the teen heartthrobs. He had covered the band's debut hit, 'What Makes You Beautiful' during a concert two years ago and recently told a contestant that they should use Styles as inspiration during his appearance on 'The Voice' earlier this month.
Asked about the 'Magic' singer's recent upheaval in his personal life following his separation from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, he said, "Everyone in their live goes through their challenges - whether it's love or money or kids or illness.
