allegedly issuing fake offer letters to two persons for job at a shop in IGI airport here, police said today.

Prakash Jha, an employee of Whorra Enterprises (EPISODE) at international departure area, was arrested yesterday on the complaint of store manager and the owner, they said.

Jha had issued offer letters to one Kiran Gupta and one Zuber Ahmed, who went to the shop on Wednesday and met the store manager saying they were employed by the company and had come to join.

When asked by the manager, they said Jha had given them the offer letter and took Rs 10,000 each from them.

 

"Three security passes, which seems to be forged, a fake offer letter belonging to Whorra Enterprises and a photocopy of the fake offer letter to Kiran Gupta were recovered from Jha's possession," a senior police official said.
