One held for killing man in Delhi

Police have arrested an accused in connection with the murder of a middle-aged man whose body was mutilated by the accused and disposed off in Uttar Pradesh last year.

Rajender Yadav, who was declared a proclaimed offender in connection with the murder, was arrested by a team of Crime Branch near Karnal bypass on Outer Ring Road, said Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner (Crime) of Police.

Rajender along with one Udayvir Singh, murdered Virender Yadav in Moradabad last year and then chopped off his head, private parts and fingers and disposed off the body in in Bareilly, police said.

The duo killed Virender as Udayvir suspected that he had an illicit relationship with his wife, they said.
 

Udayvir was arrested on December 20, 2015 and he gave police the information about Virender's body.
