Acting on a tip-off, Dalvir Singh was arrested after a raid in Lohajang village late last night near the famous Bedini grassland, they said, adding that a six-ft long leopard skin was recovered from him.
He was on way to Deval when STF arrested him, they said.
Singh was sent to Chamoli jail after a case was registered against him under the Wildife Protection Act.
