A Collectorate official from Krishna district was today caught red-handed by ACB sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000.
Senior Assistant M Rajasekhar was held receiving the sum for issuing an NOC for opening a petrol pump at Mandal headquarters in Krishna district, ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police M Narasimha Rao said.
The official was trapped after complainant G Srinivasa Rao approached the ACB, which caught him with the money outside the Collector's office, the DSP added.
