Police today raided a dance school in Panampilly Nagar area of the city and seized one kg of ganja neatly packed and ready for consumption.
Acting on a tip-off about sale and consumption of ganja at the Thandac School of Dance, police conducted a raid and arrested the owner Rajesh, a senior police official said.
An investigation has been launched to find out the source and distribution network of the drug, he added.
The ganja was seized days after the state government told the Kerala High Court that the global drug mafia was making Kochi, the bustling business centre of Kerala, a hub for their activities.
