One person was killed and 24 others were injured, five of them seriously, when two buses carrying them collided near a crossing in Lambakheda region under Eintkhedi police post area near here today, police said.
The mishap occurred when one of the buses coming to Bhopal at high speed hit the other one headed for Dharmara, causing it to overturn, City North Area SP Arvind Saxena told PTI.
The lone deceased has been identified as Narendra Bhargava, conductor of the bus going to Dharmara, he said, adding that the injured, comprising 15 men and nine women, have been admitted to hospital where condition of five of them is stated to be serious.

The deceased was a resident of Dilododh village.
"The bus coming to Bhopal was driven at very high speed," the SP said.
