One person was killed and 25 others were injured when a bus overturned in Burdwan district today, police sources said.
The bus was on its ways to Burdwan from Karuanmoyee in Salt Lake when the driver lost control over the vehicle at Palsit and it overturned, the sources said.
The injured have been admitted to Burdwan Medical College Hospital, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Samir Basu, a retired bank employee and resident of Burdwan town.
