One killed, 6 injured in clash in Bharatpur's Pipla village

A quarrel between some school children led to a clash between two groups in which one person was killed and six others were injured in Bharatpur district today, the police said.

Both groups of people first pelted stones on each other followed by lathi and then opened fire over the quarrel the children had in school at Pipla village during Independence day function yesterday, Chiksana Police station SHO Arun Singh said.

The deceased was identified as Rakesh Thakur (28 years) while the six injured were admitted to hospital, the SHO said.

Five persons of both group were rounded up for interrogation, the SHO said adding case was registered against both the groups and it was being probed.
