A Congress worker was killed today and seven others injured in a clash with BJP workers during polling in assembly elections at Sadadi village in Kasrawad constituency in Khargone district, police said.
The Congress worker was identified as Kalu Yadav (38), police said.
Of the seven injured four are from Congress and the rest are from the BJP, police said, adding it has registered a complaint against both the groups.
Congress candidate Sachin Yadav condemned the attack on Congressmen by BJP workers and expressed deep sorrow over the death of Kalu Yadav.
