One killed, four injured in train-tractor collision in Raj

A man was killed and four others got injured when a tractor collided with a moving passenger train at an unmanned railway crossing in Jhunjhunu district.

The incident occurred in Mandawa area when the tractor collided with the Sikar-Delhi passenger train, police said.

One occupant of the tractor was killed and two others got injured in the incident, police said.

Two train passengers also fell off due to the jerk and received injury, SHO Mandawa Durga Prasad said.

"The deceased could not be identified and the four injured are being treated at the district hospital," the SHO said.

The collision occurred because the tractor driver could not see the fast approaching train and tried crossing the track, police said.
