One person was killed and another rescued when an avalanche hit a mountainous belt of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir today.
The avalanche occurred in Bhalesa belt of Doda district, a police officer said.
One person was killed and another rescued in the avalanche, he said, adding that the body of deceased has been recovered.
