The fire engulfed house of Mohammad Ramzan Cheerghar last night in Jamalatta area.
Cheerghar was caught in the blaze and died.
A police spokesman said that it took several hours to firefighters to put out the blaze.
Cause of the fire was not immediately known, police said, adding that a case has been registered and probe was on.
