One killed in Pak blast

A man was killed when a bomb went off on the outskirts of Peshawar city in northwest Pakistan today, police said.

The bomb planted along the side of a road exploded at Badabher area of Peshawar.

A man who was passing the area was killed instantly.

Police officials said the bomb was a timed device and the attack was aimed at creating fear in the area.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
